This poem depicts a scene from an ordinary day's life, but it captures the "now" time that has transcended the world divided by the coronavirus pandemic. The growth of the grandchild during the long years was depicted so that it could be seen just by saying "chopstick long". I want to applaud the splendor of condensing the recent new corona and human time captured in just seventeen sounds.
- "Pseudonym / Setchan" (80 years old), Osaka Prefecture, where gods are well behaved beyond chopsticks
- The chopsticks lined up on the dining table are neatly arranged. Sometimes, it is decorated with your favorite chopstick rest. Chopstick culture, which has been handed down from the age of the gods, is the very attitude of Japanese people toward food. A culture that demands good manners not only for the manners of chopsticks but also for everyday trivial matters such as eating is beautiful. I'm glad I was born Japanese.
