Delivery class to get interested in chopsticks
This on-site class aims to get people interested in the chopsticks they use every day by practicing how to use them correctly and making their own original chopsticks. Learning the basics of being able to hold chopsticks properly = ``Chopstick education'' promotes brain activity and cultivates an honest mind. Focusing on how people use chopsticks and how they eat, the ``Chopstick Education Class'', also known as ``Chopstick Education'', was established in 1998 with the cooperation of an elementary school in Adachi Ward, Tokyo. Since then, the "Chopsticks Education Class" has grown to be held more than 200 times a year in 44 prefectures across the country, and as of the end of March 2023, it has reached 3,115 times with 163,600 people.

Recently, we have received applications from young children, boys and girls, as well as adults, as an opportunity to review food culture and manners through chopsticks. With the registration of Japanese food as a world intangible cultural heritage, the importance of food education and chopsticks education is becoming more and more important.・ ・ I want to help everyone build a proud and dignified and beautiful Japan ... Need for chopsticks
Japan is in a privileged environment where you can enjoy the world's food on a daily basis, unlike any other in the world. Traditionally eaten Japanese food is loved as a healthy food in the world and is gaining widespread popularity. However, it seems that there was little awareness of the chopsticks used to eat it. Japan is said to be the country of chopsticks, but recently there are many Japanese who cannot use chopsticks correctly. Experimental verification has also been conducted and proved that the use of chopsticks leads to dexterous movement of the hands and has a great effect on the development of the brain. Acquiring the correct chopsticks usage in early childhood is very important in terms of brain and hand development and discipline. In the "Chopsticks Education Class", you will learn the basics of how to hold and use chopsticks correctly.
